Google Chrome stores previous versions of the app inside Google Chrome. If you go to your Applications folder and check the size, you may find it is taking up gigabytes of space on your Mac.
Removing the old versions is easy: Right click on the Google Chrome application and choose ‘Show Package Contents’. Open the Versions folder, and move all folders except the one with the highest number to the trash.
